Queen Of the Nile
The story of a fallen heroine, this hybrid opera unravels the sexualization of women and examines the exploitation of idealism amidst a radicalized political climate and invasive social media.
Queen of the Nile has been in development since 2019 and received several residencies and workshops with various theaters organizations such as The Dorset Theater Festival’s Women Artists Writing Group, HERE Arts Center, Rogers Arts Loft in Las Vegas, Bethany Arts Community and the North American Cultural Laboratory’s Deep Space Residency. Queen of the Nile is also a recipient of the New York State Council on the Arts FY2023 grant.
